From Viñedos Sierra Cantabria in Rioja, Amancio 2020 is a red wine drawn from La Veguilla, the Eguren family’s vineyard in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, planted in 1975. Produced from individually selected grapes that are de-stemmed by hand, it is matured for an extended period in new French oak Bordeaux barrels before release.

This is a wine built for further bottle ageing, with maturity bringing notable depth and complexity. The profile develops into layers of black cherries, dark chocolate, figs, aniseed, dried herbs, woodsmoke, soy sauce, spices and beef stock, making it a compelling choice for the cellar.
