Synopses

I Am Number Four

John Smith lives on the run, moving from town to town and changing his identity to avoid those hunting him. When he settles in Paradise, Ohio, he tries to fit in and, for the first time, forms friendships and experiences the possibility of love. With three of the nine already killed, John knows he is next.

The Power of Six

A narrator follows the news about John Smith, recognising him as one of the nine. With six left, they are hiding and avoiding contact, while their Legacies continue to develop. Questions remain about who can bring them together, including the identities of Numbers Five and Six.

The Rise of Nine

Demelza Carne, once an impoverished miner’s daughter, is now Ross Poldark’s wife. The turbulent years ahead test their marriage as she struggles to adapt to the ways of the gentry and to her husband. Ross fights for the rights of mining communities, creating a lasting enmity with George Warleggan.

The Fall of Five

The group expected that finding one another would end the running and lead to victory against the Mogadorians, but they barely escape with their lives. Now in hiding, they must plan their next move while realising they are not yet strong enough to face an entire army. With time running out, they need to find Number Five before their enemies do.

The Revenge of Seven

There, they awaken a power hidden within Earth for generations, capable of saving the world or destroying it.

The final battle approaches with Earth as the battlefield, as Mogadorian warships loom over major cities and conventional armies will not act. The Garde stand against the invasion, now joined by human teens across the globe who begin to develop Legacies.
