Petromax Cast Iron Trivet

Designed for confident cooking over fire or in a Dutch Oven, the Petromax Cast Iron Trivet supports even heat distribution for braising, simmering and baking. Set on three knobs, it helps lift food away from the base of compatible Dutch Ovens, reducing the risk of scorching during longer cooks.

Beyond the pot, it can be used directly on the fire to create defined grill marks, or as a stable surface for resting items such as a percolator or teakettle. It also works as a practical trivet for the table. Finished with a seasoned surface, it is ready to use straight away without pre-seasoning.
