At the heart of the mill sits Peugeot’s Zirlion mechanism, engineered from zirconia to grind dry rock salt crystals measuring less than 6 mm. For controlled results, the patented u’Select system lets you choose between six preset grind settings by turning the ring at the base, moving from ultra-fine powdered salt through to a satisfyingly coarse texture. Made in France using locally sourced wood from PEFC-certified French forests, it is completed with a solvent-free coating. The grinding mechanism is guaranteed for life.
