Rainbow Rising is issued on LP as a 180g black vinyl pressing. The album is Rainbow’s second release, following the band’s first album in August 1975. Rainbow was formed by Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, and Rising arrived the following year.

This individual LP edition follows on from The Polydor Years (2014), a vinyl LP box set containing all eight albums. The tracklist is presented across two sides, from “Tarot Woman” through to “A Light In The Black”.
