Mary Anne Saves the Day

Mary Anne has never been a leader of the BSC, and when a fight breaks out among the four members she feels lost, unable to depend on the others. Sitting alone in the cafeteria is hard enough, but she also has to babysit a sick child without any help from the club.

Mary Anne decides someone has to take action, and it is time for her to step in and save the day.

Claudia and Mean Janine

Claudia and her sister Janine seem like complete opposites. Claudia focuses on her artwork and the Baby-sitters Club more than homework, while Janine studies constantly, gets straight As and takes college-level courses.

When something unexpected happens to the most beloved person in their family, the sisters must decide whether they can set aside their differences.

Dawn and the Impossible Three

As the newest member of the BSC, Dawn is keen to prove herself and takes on a big job. The Barretts turn out to be more difficult than she expected: the house is a mess, Mrs Barrett is unreliable and the children are out of control.

Dawn knows she is a great baby-sitter, but this job feels impossible. Still, she is certain of one thing: a member of the BSC never gives up.

Kristy’s Big Day

Kristy’s mum is getting married, and family arrive in town to help, bringing fourteen children with them. Kristy believes she, Stacey, Claudia, Mary Anne and Dawn can manage the week, especially as they are being paid to take on such a large job.

With nappies to change, fights to stop, mix-ups to solve and fourteen children to keep entertained, the BSC must try to keep everything under control for Kristy’s big day.

Boy-Crazy Stacey

Stacey and Mary Anne babysit for the Pike family for two weeks at the New Jersey shore. Sea City seems perfect, with a beach house, a boardwalk, sun and sand, and the cutest boy Stacey has ever seen.

Mary Anne thinks Stacey should focus on the Pike children, but Stacey is in love and spends her time finding excuses to be near Scott’s lifeguard stand. Mary Anne ends up doing the work of two baby-sitters and worries about how to tell Stacey that Scott is not interested without damaging their friendship.
