Tamiya German Armoured Car Sd.Kfz.222 North African Campaign(1:35)

Widely recognised among German armoured cars of WWII, the Sd.Kfz.222 is recreated here as a Tamiya 1/35 scale assembly kit model, capturing the vehicle’s distinctive welded hull and open-topped turret. This light 4x4 design is presented with an emphasis on the sharp, angular lines of the hull and turret, making it a rewarding build for military modellers and collectors of WWII subjects.

Interior detail can be shown through the open turret, including the 20mm cannon with a metal barrel. Photo-etched parts are included for the turret mesh covers, adding finer definition to the protective screens. The kit also includes parts for a DKW motorcycle, plus new components such as a hull-mounted tool box and headlight. Three new figures are supplied: a commander and radio operator positioned in the turret, and a motorcycle rider with options for different facial expressions and poses, alongside three planned marking types.
