Tamiya German Hetzer Tank Destroyer Mid Production (1:35 Scale)

Developed to meet a 1943 German requirement for a purpose-built tank destroyer, the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer became known for its low, compact profile and sloped armour. This Tamiya 1/35 scale assembly kit recreates the mid production vehicle, based on the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) chassis and armed with a Pak 39 L/48 75mm gun in a fixed mounting. With new mouldings and updated detail parts, it offers a focused build for military modellers who want a mid production Hetzer in a larger scale.

Newly tooled features include the remote-control MG34 machine gun mount on the top of the hull and periscopic binoculars. A choice of belt type or assembly type caterpillar tracks allows different modelling approaches, while hull tools and a jack add extra realism. One standing tank crew figure and four marking options are included to complete the finished model.
