Tamiya US M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank (1:48 Scale)

Built around one of the most recognisable modern armoured vehicles, the Tamiya US M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the U.S. Main Battle Tank M1A2 Abrams. Introduced from 1992, the M1A2 brought the Abrams into the digital age and later saw action in Iraq in 2003; this kit includes marking options to depict U.S. Army 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment vehicles from that conflict.

Surface detail is moulded into the main sections, while assembly-type tracks include straight runs for a realistic finish. A commander torso figure is included, along with decals for two marking choices. The kit also includes a weight to give the completed model a heavier feel. Cement, paint and finishing supplies are required.
