Tamiya German Kd.Kfz165 Hummel Late Production (1:35 Scale)

German WWII armour is captured in fine detail with this Tamiya 1/35 scale assembly kit recreating the Sd.Kfz.165 Hummel (late production) self-propelled howitzer. Developed to provide mobile artillery support for German tank units, the Hummel combined the Geschützwagen III/IV chassis with an open-top fighting compartment and a 15cm howitzer, and saw service from 1943 through the latter half of the Second World War.

This plastic model kit includes newly tooled parts for the upper hull, fighting compartment and gun, plus accessories to depict ammunition and cases. Late production tracks are represented with one-piece straight sections to reproduce upper-run sag, while three new figures and two marking options allow for varied display finishes. Cement, paint and finishing supplies are required separately.
