Developed from the KV-1 heavy tank, the Soviet KV-2 was created to increase breakthrough firepower by mounting a 152mm howitzer in an exceptionally tall, box-shaped turret. This Tamiya Russian KV-2 Heavy Tank plastic model kit recreates that distinctive silhouette in 1:35 scale, with an emphasis on surface detail and a realistic overall presence.

Built from research of the real vehicle, the kit includes a turret with textured armour surfaces and finely rendered weld lines. Multiple hatches across the hull can be assembled in either open or closed positions, while the tracks are engineered to connect along the straight runs and form natural-looking upper slack. Two crew figures are included for display options, along with two marking choices.
