From Teusner Wines, The Dog Strangler Mataro 2022 is a single-varietal red wine made from Mataro, also known as Mourvèdre. Produced in a style rarely seen as a standalone expression, it shows a dense, deeply coloured character with a dark purple to near-black appearance.

The aromatics are layered with blueberries, anise, smoked meats and Asian spice. On the palate, fleshy blue fruits, dark cherry, spice and liquorice are supported by tannins and acidity working in tandem, giving the wine structure and cut while preserving its generous dark fruit weight.
