Synopses

Pawn of Prophecy

Long ago, Torak fought to seize the Orb of Aldur, but was defeated and the Orb reclaimed by Belgarath. Garion, a young farm lad, hears the tale as a story until it begins to connect to a prophecy and a destiny passed down through generations. Torak is stirring again.

Queen of Sorcery

Legends tell how Belgarath and his daughter Polgara defeated Torak and left him in an endless sleep. Now a priest of Torak is racing to reawaken his god with the Orb of Aldur, with Belgarath and Polgara in pursuit. Garion travels with them, and the power of sorcery grows.

Magician's Gambit

Two ancient prophecies move towards a moment that will determine the future, as a clash with the maimed god Torak approaches. Garion, raised as a farm lad, begins to understand his part in the prophecy and works to control his sorcerous power.
