Synopses

Curious George and the Dinosaur

On a school trip to the museum, George loses interest at the rock exhibits and wanders into the next room. There he discovers a dinosaur skeleton and cannot resist climbing to the top. When he is found, everyone becomes curious about dinosaurs.

Curious George and the Fire-fighters

George and the man with the yellow hat visit a fire station, where George finds plenty of new things to explore. When one curious monkey meets a company of unsuspecting fire-fighters, trouble and adventure follow.

Curious George Visits the Library

George visits the library for the first time and is amazed by how many books there are. He fills a trolley with favourites, but it speeds up and crashes, making a mess. With help from the librarian and other children, the books are sorted, and George receives a new library card.

Curious George and the Birthday Surprise

The man with the yellow hat mentions he is planning a surprise, and George immediately wants to know more. George finds a hat, noisemakers, decorations and games and decides it must be a birthday. The question is whose birthday it is.

Curious George Visits a Toy Shop

George and the man with the yellow hat go to the opening of a new toy shop. Too impatient to wait, George sneaks in early and discovers hula hoops, balls and puppets. He cannot keep his paws to himself, and trouble follows.

Curious George Catches a Train

At the station, George watches the station-master moving numbers and letters on a large sign and decides to help. Chaos follows, but when a boy nearly falls on the tracks while chasing his toy engine, George saves the day. He then gets to ride right up front.

Curious George Goes to a Chocolate Factory

George and the man with the yellow hat stop at a chocolate factory store, and George becomes curious about how chocolates are made. He starts the factory tour but soon goes off on his own to investigate. As usual, his curiosity gets him into trouble again.

Curious George Goes to the Zoo

George visits a zoo where the animals roam free and some look too fun to resist. With giraffes and flamingos close enough to touch, George also befriends a baby rhino who seems sad. George helps lure her from her hiding place in time for her special birthday party.

Curious George Goes to a Movie

George and the man with the yellow hat finally go to see the film they have been waiting for. Inside the dark theatre, George’s attention drifts to a light coming from a window at the back. Curious little monkeys and film projectors do not mix.

Curious George First Day of School

George attends the first day of school as a special helper in Mr. Apple’s class. He ends up in his usual mischief and creates a big mess. Simultaneous.
