The Rolling Stones Steel Wheels is an LP on black vinyl. It is the band’s 19th British and 21st American studio album, originally released on 29 August 1989, and the final album of new material recorded for Columbia Records.

Steel Wheels was produced by Richards and Jagger with Chris Kimsey. It is Bill Wyman’s final full-length studio album with the group, and the first album not to feature former member and frequent contributor on piano Ian Stewart, who died shortly before the release of Dirty Work.
