Synopses

Queen of Shadows

Celaena returns to Rifthold driven by revenge and determined to learn whether the prince and his captain are safe. Now accepting her identity as Aelin Galathynius, the lost Queen of Terrasen, she must uncover dark truths and settle old debts before she can reclaim her throne. Hidden beneath an assassin’s hood, she draws on her strength to stop the King of Adarlan from tearing her world apart.

Crown of Midnight

Eighteen-year-old Celaena Sardothien has won the King’s contest and become his champion, yet she is denied both liberty and the freedom to follow her heart. Forced to choose between killing for a man she hates or risking the lives of those she loves, she must decide what she will fight for. The cost of trying to hold on to everything may be ruinous.

Heir of Fire

As the King of Adarlan’s assassin, Celaena is bound to serve the tyrant who killed her dear friend, but she has vowed to make him pay. The answers she needs lie across the sea in Wendlyn. Chaol, Captain of the King’s Guard, endangers his own future to send her there.

Throne of Glass

In the salt mines of Endovier, an eighteen-year-old girl serves a life sentence after being caught. Offered a bargain by Captain Westfall, she can win her freedom by representing the prince in a to-the-death tournament against thieves and assassins. Whatever the outcome, she is set on a path towards discovering her destiny.

Empire of Storms

Aelin Galathynius’s long road to the throne begins as the kingdoms of Erilea fracture around her. With dark forces gathering, enemies may need to become allies to protect those she loves. As war looms, a desperate quest offers a chance of salvation, but it may cost everything she holds dear.

Tower of Dawn

Chaol Westfall has long defined himself by loyalty, strength and his role as Captain of the Guard. After Aelin shatters the glass castle and his men are slaughtered, his life is altered again when the King of Adarlan spares him but leaves his body broken.

Kingdom of Ash

Aelin Galathynius’s journey from slave to assassin to queen reaches its finale as war spreads across her world. Having risked everything to save her people, she pays a tremendous cost. Imprisoned in an iron coffin by the Queen of the Fae, she endures months of torture, holding on to the knowledge that yielding would doom those she loves.

The Assassin's Blade

Celaena Sardothien, Adarlan’s most feared assassin, serves the Assassins’ Guild under Arobynn Hamel, though she trusts only her fellow killer-for-hire, Sam. In this collection of prequel novellas, she undertakes five missions that take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, including efforts to liberate slaves and seek vengeance against the tyrannous. Acting against Arobynn’s orders, she risks severe punishment for her treachery.
