Built for connected observing, the Unistellar eQuinox 2 is a smart reflector telescope with a 114mm mirror, 450mm focal length and f/4 optical system on a motorised alt-az mount. App control through iOS and Android devices places alignment, object selection and live viewing in one streamlined setup, with a catalogue of more than 5000 celestial objects and a star database covering 37 million visible stars.

Its 6. 2 Mpx sensor works with Unistellar image-processing technologies including Smart Light Pollution Reduction, Enhanced Vision, Dynamic Signal Amplification, Amplified Resolution, Deep Dark Technology and Smart Star Finder. Manual focus and collimation are provided, while the 34. 2 x 45. 6 arc min field of view is wide enough to frame the full moon. A premium tripod is included, and the 11-hour battery autonomy supports extended sessions away from mains power. This model also supports citizen astronomy projects through collaborations with institutions including NASA and the SETI Institute.
