Designed for creating secure loops in wire rope, these US Fed Spec Wire Rope Grips are suited to a wide range of practical applications, including use aboard boats, in public areas and for yacht rigging. With multiple sizes available, they offer a straightforward solution when you need to form and fasten wire rope terminations with confidence.

For best results during fitting and ongoing use, follow the recommended assembly guidance, including correct orientation of the ‘U’ bolt and periodic torque checks during service.

Key features

• Suitable for creating loops in wire rope
• Recommended for use aboard boats, in public areas and for yacht rigging
• Grease nut and bolt threads prior to fitting
• Space grips at least 6 times the diameter of the rope
• Fit with the ‘U’ bolt on the unloaded end of the rope
• Tighten nuts evenly and in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings
• Re-check torque after 24 hours, after first load application, and periodically during service
