Verano Spanish Ceramics Signature - Blue & White Octopus - Spoon Rests

From Verano Spanish Ceramics, this Signature Spoon Rest is a distinctive piece of ceramic tableware, created using a traditional process developed over generations by a small family-run business in the Almeria region of southern Spain. Each piece begins with a white base clay paint, before the design is carved through the coating and into the brown clay to leave an indented imprint. It is then individually signed by the artist, hand-painted in rich, contrasting colours, and finished with glazing before being fired in the kiln.

Designed to bring character to the kitchen, it offers a considered place to rest spoons while cooking and serving. Measuring 28cm in length, it suits everyday use and is also microwave and dishwasher safe for easy care.
