Virgin Experience Days Tree Top Adventure For Two With Go Ape

High above the forest floor, this Go Ape Tree-top Challenge for Two pairs aerial obstacles with a striking woodland setting. It is an adventurous outdoor experience for two people, with tree-to-tree crossings, Tarzan swings and fast zip wires set within one of Go Ape’s forest courses.

Before heading into the canopy, both participants receive a safety briefing and a chance to practise the obstacles at low level. After that, the course is completed independently, with instructors patrolling the forest and available if needed. Obstacle types and course lengths vary by location, making this a lively choice for adventurous gift occasions and shared days out.

What happens on the day

When you arrive at your chosen location, and before you head up onto the course, you’ll be given a safety briefing by one of the qualified instructors. Here you’ll learn and try out the obstacles at low levels, and get to grips with the equipment.

After your training you won’t be supervised. You’ll be responsible for yourself, but instructors are always on hand if you need them, regularly patrolling the forests. Make your way through the course at your own speed. On average it takes between one to three hours to complete. Obstacles and course lengths differ per location.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 10 (at certain sites - please check at the time of booking)
• Minimum height: 4ft 7in
• Maximum weight: 20 stone 5lbs
• Supervision ratios apply: one participating adult (18+) can supervise up to two children aged 10 to 15 years while on the course.
• Fitness: basic fitness levels are required – as long as you can climb a ladder – you can Go Ape
• If you have any questions regarding suitability, please check with your doctor
• Please note that participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be unable to take part.

• All bookings are subject to a £3.95 booking fee
• Spectators are welcome to cheer you on throughout your adventure and take photos. You can bring as many spectators as you want, except at Woburn Safari Park where you can bring only one spectator
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location

Availability

• Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
• This experience is available seven days a week throughout the year
• We recommend you book at least six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
• The Go Ape Tree-top Challenge adventure takes approximately 1 to 3 hours to complete and that includes your safety briefing.
