Yorkshire Bonsai Kanuma Medium Grain Bonsai Soil

From Yorkshire Bonsai, Kanuma Medium Grain Bonsai Soil is a volcanic pumice designed for use on its own or blended with other bonsai soils. With a pH of approximately 5.5, it is suited to growers looking to lower the overall pH of a bonsai soil mix, particularly for acid-loving varieties such as Chinese Elm, Juniper, Azalea, Gardenia and Camellias.

The medium grain structure offers a practical balance for routine bonsai care, while the material’s water and nutrient retention helps maintain consistent moisture in warmer weather. Lightweight and visually clean in the pot, it also provides a useful visual guide when checking whether your tree needs watering.
