Flavour:

On the nose, it offers a very fruity bouquet with prominent aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherry, black cherry, plum, white pepper and almond.  On the palate, it's generally medium-bodied with a nice tannic texture that is often described as soft and well-balanced. You can expect a rich, crisp fruitiness and a finish with good freshness and persistence. Some notes suggest it can be full-bodied, robust, and warm, with good taste-olfactory persistence.

Food Match:

Serve at 16-18°C to accompany pasta puttanesca or arrabiata, pizza with sausage or peppers or spaghetti ragu with meatballs.
