From Andeluna, the 1300 Malbec 2024 is a full-bodied red wine with notable colour intensity and violet hues. On the nose, it offers aromas of diverse fruits and flowers, layered with notes of dulce de leche, vanilla and chocolate, shaped by ageing in oak barrels. The palate opens smoothly, showing a balanced profile and soft tannins that suit the variety’s character.

Andeluna was founded in 2003 by the late Ward Lay. The winery and vineyards cover 70 hectares in the Uco Valley near Tupungato, a sub-region of Mendoza, and sit at an altitude of 1,300 metres. The name Andeluna references the sight of the moon illuminating the nearby Andes Mountains. Winemaker Manuel Gonzalez works alongside wine consultant Hans Vinding Diers.
