Banfi Centine Rosso 2023

From Banfi, Centine Rosso 2023 is a red wine with mauve highlights and a character that leans fresh, sweet and fruit-forward. Aromas of blackberry and ripe cherry lead the nose, layered with delicate spicy notes of cocoa, tobacco and liquorice. On the palate, it shows an elegant, balanced profile with a full, round structure, shaped by notable softness and an enveloping feel, before finishing long and lingering.

Founded in 1978 by Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani, Banfi brings together winemaking passion and technological innovation. Working with Ezio Rivella, the estate’s land in Montalcino was developed into a centre for quality-focused production, later complemented by the acquisition of the historic Piedmontese winery Bruzzone. Banfi is also committed to responsible environmental stewardship and has obtained sustainable Equalitas certification at organisational and product level for some productions, including Brunello di Montalcino Poggio all’Oro 2016 as the first Brunello di Montalcino to receive this certification.
