About the producer

Barton & Guestier was established in 1802 when Hugh Barton partnered with Daniel Guestier. The house’s origins trace back to Thomas Barton, who settled in Bordeaux and founded his wine-shipping company in 1725. By 1747, he had become Bordeaux’s leading shipper and was the first to own his own wine estates.
