Made from corten steel, this gate develops a protective rust layer when exposed to the elements. That evolving surface helps guard against corrosion and removes the need for painting. Supplied in its original metal colour, it will gradually take on the distinctive rusty brown finish over time. A lockable system is fitted for added security.

Treatment & maintenance

Corten steel develops a protective rust layer when first exposed to atmospheric conditions, helping to resist corrosion without painting. The gate is supplied unrusted in a normal metal colour and will weather naturally over time. To accelerate the rusting process, it can be sprayed with soap water and salt water. Avoid contact with the developing rust layer to help prevent staining on clothing.
