Synopses

Fury

In the winter of 1811, Captain Sharpe must protect a philandering diplomat while facing the enemy after being deserted by an ally. With Spain fallen to the French except for Cadiz, Sharpe finds danger both inside the besieged city and beyond its walls. Trapped by a French army, the small British force looks to the outnumbered redcoats outside, and Sharpe meets Colonel Vandal again at Barrosa.

Battle

Sharpe fights for his Irish battalion and his own honour as his men are attacked in a crumbling Portuguese fort by an elite French unit led by an old enemy. After heavy losses, high command blames Sharpe and his career appears ruined. With his honour at stake, he seeks redemption by leading his men against overwhelming French numbers in the narrow streets of Fuentes de Oñoro.
