Bestue Spanish Chardonnay (750ml - 13%)

From Bodega Otto Bestué, this Spanish Chardonnay is a fresh, vibrant white wine made from fruit grown at Finca La Mezquita on Mount Enate. At 13% ABV, it combines bright tropical fruit character with lively acidity, shaped by a predominantly dry growing year and a shorter, more concentrated harvest.

Grapes are picked in the cool early morning from mid to late August to preserve freshness, then gently destemmed before a six-hour maceration in the press at 8ºC. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by one month of light ageing on lees, giving the wine an expressive profile and an approachable mouthfeel. Its crisp style suits tapas, rice dishes and snacks, and it is best served at 9–12ºC.
