Omrah Australian Shiraz (750ml - 14.5%)

Plantagenet Wines draws on Western Australia’s cool-climate character for Omrah Australian Shiraz, a full-bodied red wine with 14.5% ABV. Made from fruit harvested in a warm season with a condensed growing period, it was picked early, then underwent malolactic fermentation before maturing for 18 months in oak and tank.

This is a structured, expressive Shiraz with ripe dark fruit at its core. Blackberries, plums and blackcurrants lead the palate, followed by dark chocolate, liquorice and evolving spice. Firm yet polished tannins and balanced acidity bring harmony and length, making it a strong match for grilled meats and hearty stews. Enjoyable now, it also has the capacity to develop further with a few years of cellaring.
