Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet is a 180g black vinyl LP edition of the band’s third studio album, originally released on August 18, 1986. It was issued by Mercury Records in North America and Vertigo Records internationally.

Produced by Bruce Fairbairn, the album was recorded between January and July 1986 at Little Mountain Sound Studios in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It includes “You Give Love A Bad Name”, “Livin' On A Prayer” and “Wanted Dead Or Alive”. Slippery When Wet spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the U. S. Billboard 200 chart, was named by Billboard as the top-selling album of 1987, and holds an RIAA certification of 12× Platinum.
