Celestron Astromaster 80AZS Short Refractor Telescope

Compact and easy to handle, the Celestron AstroMaster 80AZS is a short refractor telescope with an 80mm aperture, 400mm focal length and f/5 focal ratio on a manual alt-azimuth mount. Its lightweight format and preassembled mount and tripod make it a practical choice for beginners, with a short optical tube that suits both astronomical viewing and daytime terrestrial observation.

An erect image 90 diagonal is included for right-side-up viewing, while the StarPointer red dot finderscope helps with quick alignment. Two eyepieces are supplied, giving 20x and 40x magnification, and the pan handle with clutch-controlled alt-azimuth movement allows smooth manual tracking. • Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
