Celestron Dew Heater Ring 5"

Year-round dew control starts at the corrector lens, and this Celestron 5-inch Dew Heater Ring takes a direct approach. Made for compatible 5-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, it replaces the retaining ring on the optical tube and applies heat across the corrector glass itself rather than around the lens cell.

The aluminium ring is rigid, lightweight and permanently mounted for a neat, integrated fit on the telescope. An integrated thermistor monitors the corrector lens temperature when used with Celestron Smart DewHeater Controllers, while the 12V DC barrel connector provides continuous heat to help prevent dew forming during observation and imaging sessions. Storage clips and a cable management clip are included to keep connections protected and tidy when the ring is not in use.
