This narrowband design is intended for use on objects where O III emission is prominent, including the Veil, Ring, Dumbbell, Crescent and Orion nebulae.

An ultra-hard, vacuum-deposited coating blocks visual wavelengths from 400 to 700nm and reduces the coloured halos that can appear around bright stars with less advanced O III coatings. As a separately sold telescope accessory, it offers a precise optical option for observers building a more specialised eyepiece and filter setup.
