The vineyard sits on a south-facing site in Saint-Emilion and extends across 25 hectares, with 22 hectares in a single parcel between Châteaux Ausone and Pavie. Calcareous clay soils shape the hillsides, while the lower slopes are sandy. The planting is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, giving this wine its structure and depth.
