Dinosaur Adventures 10 Books Bag Collection Set brings together ten original dinosaur stories for young readers, each presented as a brightly illustrated picture book. The set invites children to meet a range of dinosaurs and follow their adventures through simple, accessible storytelling designed to delight little dinosaur fans.
Across the collection, each tale focuses on a different dinosaur, from Ava the Allosaurus with a sore tooth to Vicky the Velociraptor who struggles to slow down and listen. The set also includes a colourful fabric bag and is described as containing four dinosaur picture books plus a dinosaur puzzle and colour book.
Ava the Allosaurus has a painful tooth that leaves her feeling grumpy and unwilling to play. Her friends try different ways to help with her toothache, but it is unclear which idea will work. The story is fully illustrated with artwork by Steve Brown.
Archie the Ankylosaurus is unlucky: his club tail seems to act on its own and causes problems he cannot control. After being left out of a game for being clumsy, a T rex arrives and the dinosaurs flee into a cave. Trapped and frightened, Archie’s tail may be the one thing that can help.
Bobby the Brachiosaurus keeps using his long neck to get involved in other dinosaurs’ business. Before long, his behaviour lands him in trouble, and he must find out whether anyone will come to help. The book features artwork by Louise Forshaw.
Dora the Diplodocus approaches problems in unusual ways, such as stretching awkwardly for leaves instead of walking around a tree. When Allosaurus keep attacking her herd, the others dismiss her ideas as “dippy”. Dora eventually finds a way to stop the Allosaurus.
Isaac the Iguanodon is determined to get a good night’s sleep, but the forest noises keep him awake. The narrative is simple and accessible, introducing young learners to a variety of dinosaur species. The book includes vibrant, colourful illustrations and encourages readers to use their imagination.
Posy the Plateosaurus is known for refusing to share, even with friends. A new dinosaur, Malik, arrives in the desert and proves to be just as selfish, challenging her claim to a bridge. When a bigger dinosaur enters their territory, Posy and Malik must decide whether to work together.
Suki the Spinosaurus has recently moved into a river valley and finds it difficult to make friends because others are scared of her. When the river bursts its banks, she becomes the only one who can help the other dinosaurs. The story includes artwork by Leire Martin.
Sonny the Stegosaurus leaves his family’s swamp to make a new home, but he misses his old friends. His dad allows him to visit them as long as he stays safe, and Sonny unknowingly collects small souvenirs on his back plates. When he returns, he finds his new cave decorated with the items he brought back.
Rex is described as the biggest and baddest dinosaur, a Tyrannosaurus rex, yet even the scariest creature can feel afraid. The story is warm and colourful, with friendly text and inviting illustrations. Readers are encouraged to learn more about this dinosaur and about themselves.
Vicky the Velociraptor is full of energy and rarely stays still long enough to listen. After losing track of her family, she sets off to find them and runs into obstacles, including vines and two mean dinosaurs. Her friend Gal helps her out and reminds her to slow down.
