Flavour:

Dominated by red fruits, often described as ripe berries, cherry, plum, and sometimes jam. There can also be notes of graphite pencil, roses, carnations, and hints of dark spices, black pepper, and clove. Some detect earthy and slightly salty undertones. Shows a splendid balance between ripe fruit and minerality, with a good contribution of fresh savoury components. The tannins are typically caressing and well-integrated, leading to a voluminous, balanced, and full-bodied mouthfeel with an excellent and prolonged finish. Some notes suggest a vaguely sweet character with nuances of chocolate and autumn jams.
