A practical foundation for larger outdoor structures, the EcoBase Fastfit Shed Base Kit from EcoBase creates a firm, well-drained platform for garden buildings. Designed as an environmentally-friendly alternative to paving flags or wet-mix concrete, it uses interconnecting grids made from 100% recycled waste plastics to form a strong, long-lasting base.

The Fastfit system is lightweight and easy to manoeuvre into position, while integral T-shaped self-fastening connectors help the grids lock together securely. Rainwater drains through the cavities to the earth below, helping to keep floor bearers dry and ventilated. The kit is supplied with a weed-resistant membrane cut to size, supporting a cleaner, more stable installation. For a neat finish, the perimeter can be filled with decorative aggregate to create a French drain and reduce rain splashback onto the building.
