A stable, well-drained foundation makes all the difference to how a garden building performs over time. The EcoBase Fastfit Shed Base Kit is a shed base system designed as an environmentally-friendly alternative to paving flags or wet-mix concrete, using interconnecting grids made from 100% recycled waste plastics.

Each grid connects using integral T-shaped self-fastening connectors to create a firm, strong and long-lasting base. Rainwater drains through the cavities to the earth below, helping to keep floor bearers dry and ventilated, while the supplied weed-resistant membrane is cut to size for a neat fit. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre into position, it also allows the perimeter to be filled with decorative aggregate to form a French drain and reduce rain splashback onto the building. Suitable for all makes and styles of garden building, the system is rot proof, chemically inert and maintenance-free.
