Fattoria Mancini Impero Brut de Pinot Noir N.V.

From Fattoria Mancini, Impero Brut de Pinot Noir N.V. is a sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir and produced as a Metodo Classico. Drawn from a blend of five vintages from 2006 to 2015, the first cuvée was released in 2017.

Whole bunches are softly pressed before barrel fermentation, followed by seven months in oak and bottle refermentation in the estate’s own cellar. The result is a wine with notable complexity and persistence, shaped further by the mineral, sapid character of the soils on the cliffs of Focara.
