Fixaball 4.5mm Wood Screws Torx Countersunk High Performance ZYP Plus Bit

For timber and sheet material fixing, these ForgeFast Elite low-torque woodscrews combine a 4.5mm shank with a countersunk head and Torx drive. The zinc yellow passivated finish provides temporary corrosion resistance to moisture, while the hardened case and core and 35 bending angle support load bearing timber construction where CE approval is required.

A deep Torx recess helps reduce cam-out, recessed under-head ribs assist self-countersinking, and the sharp tip gives immediate bite from the first turn. The twisted shank is shaped to reduce friction during insertion. Suitable for use with timber, chipboard, MDF, PVCu, plastic, fibreglass and thin sheet metal.

Care and maintenance

• Zinc coated fixings should only be used outside on permanent structures.
• When the zinc coating has corroded away, the fixing will bleed rust.
• Where possible, keep fixings hidden.

Safety information

• Check the drill, driver or gun is rotating clockwise for insertion and anticlockwise for removal.
• Set the speed to a suitable level for the user and application.
• Hold the handle firmly to keep the wrist locked.
• Keep the bit square with the screw to avoid damaging the material or causing injury.
• Pulse the trigger to start the screw.
