For heavy-duty anchoring in masonry and non-cracked concrete, the Fixaball M16 throughbolt anchor is available in a zinc finish across a range of lengths. This expansion anchor suits fixing into concrete, brick, blocks and non-porous stone, with the fixing passing through the fixture once it has been positioned.
The cold formed body supports consistent dimensional accuracy and material stability. Reduced embedment suitability helps avoid contact with rebars or reinforcement cages, while the same-diameter hole and fixing arrangement simplifies alignment during installation.

Safety information
- Check the concrete strength before installation to ensure its class and standard are suitable.
- The concrete base must be compact with insignificant porosity.
- Minimum installation depth values must always be respected for anchor depth, anchor-to-anchor distances and anchor-to-edge distances.
- Drill to the specified minimum depth and diameter, perpendicular to the base material surface.
- Take special care when drilling near reinforcement areas to avoid damage.
- If drilling is aborted after encountering reinforcement, drill a new hole at a minimum distance of at least twice the aborted drill hole diameter. This distance may be reduced if the aborted hole is filled with high-resistant mortar.
- Clean holes thoroughly to remove dust and debris with a suitably sized brush.
- When temperature is below 0ºC, ensure water does not seep into the hole, as ice pressure could cause cracks in the concrete.
- Insert the anchor through the material to be fixed into the hole up to the embedment depth according to the table values.
- A hammer may be used to ensure the required depth.
- Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material to be fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
- Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
- If the holes on the material to be fixed have a bigger diameter than required, insert a thicker washer of a bigger diameter.
- This procedure does not ensure correct distribution of shear loads amongst all anchors in the same group, and the shear load is applied only to anchors with a correct diameter on the material to be fixed.
