Fixaball M16 Throughbolts Galvanised Heavy Duty Masonry Concrete Anchor

For concrete, masonry and non-porous stone fixings, this Fixaball M16 throughbolt provides a torque controlled anchor in a hot dip galvanised finish. It is suitable for use in concrete over C20/25 and is hot dipped galvanised to a minimum of 45 microns.

Used with non-cracked substrates including concrete, brick and blocks, the fixing passes through the fixture once positioned, as the hole diameter matches the fixing diameter. Reduced embedment is suitable where contact with rebars or reinforcement cages needs to be avoided.

Safety information

• Check the concrete strength before installation to ensure the class is suitable.
• The concrete base must be compact with insignificant porosity.
• Drill to the specified minimum depth and diameter, perpendicular to the base material surface.
• Take special care when drilling near reinforcement areas to avoid damage.
• If drilling is aborted after encountering reinforcement, drill a new hole at a minimum distance of at least twice the aborted drill hole diameter, unless the aborted hole is filled with high-resistant mortar.
• Clean holes thoroughly to remove dust and debris with a suitably sized brush.
• When temperature is below 0ºC, ensure water does not seep into the hole.
• Insert the anchor through the material to be fixed into the hole up to the embedment depth according to the table values.
• Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material to be fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
• Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
• If the holes on the material to be fixed have a bigger diameter than required, insert a thicker washer of a bigger diameter.
