Designed for everyday cooking, the Kuhn Rikon Classic Plus Saucepan With Draining Lid pairs high quality 18/10 stainless steel with a practical, mess-reducing lid. A glass lid with integrated draining function and steam vent helps you pour away water with control, while two pouring spouts support neat serving straight from the pan.

A thick, fully encapsulated impact bonded base is built to absorb and spread heat efficiently. On the hob, the ergonomic bakelite handle is designed to stay cool, and the pan is suitable for all hob types including induction. When recipes move from hob to oven, it can be used in the oven up to 220°C.

Use and care

• Remove all packaging and peel off any labels before wetting the pan, then use hot, soapy water and a soft cloth to remove any residue
• Hand wash and dry the pan and lid before first use
• If cleaning by hand use hot, soapy water; stubborn burnt on stains might need soaking first
• Use a nylon brush or scourer for gentle cleaning; do not use abrasive cleaning agents or metal scourers
• Avoid dragging the pan across a glass topped hob
• Try to match the diameter of the pan to the ring on the hob
• Always heat up a pan gradually, don’t place it on a high heat
• Use silicone, wooden or metal utensils; do not use sharp implements, such as knives, or electric blenders in the pan
• The pan handle will stay cool on the hob provided gas flames are not licking up the side
• Use oven gloves when removing pans from the oven
• Do not place pans on the oven floor, always use an oven shelf
• Limescale marks can be removed with a little lemon juice or vinegar
