Liqui Moly Pro Line Throttle Valve Cleaner Intake Deposit Cleaner 400 ml

Liqui Moly Pro-Line Throttle Valve Cleaner is a 400 ml intake deposit cleaner formulated for the intake and throttle valve area, including nozzles and holes. The active solvent loosens and removes typical contamination and deposits such as oil, resin and glue, helping to maintain the operability of moving parts in gasoline-powered engines.

Suitable only for use in gasoline engines, it can be applied without dismantling. The formula is tested for use with catalytic converters and is intended for direct cleaning of the throttle valve area during engine operation. Painted components and the air flow meter must be avoided during application.

How to use

• Create direct access to the throttle valve and start the engine
• Spray across the entire area of the throttle valve in intervals of 2 to 3 seconds at min. 2,000 revolutions via the spray probe
• If the engine cannot maintain the speed with the intake pipe removed or cannot be started, disconnect the plug from the air flow meter with the ignition switched off
• After cleaning in this condition, delete the stored fault from the engine control unit using a suitable diagnostic device and teach in the air flow meter again if necessary
• If a speed fluctuation of more than 1,000 revolutions occurs during application, shorten the spray intervals
• For stubborn deposits on the throttle valve, in the intake manifold or on the intake valves, cleaning can be repeated with a second can
• After use, allow the engine to run for about 20 seconds at min. 2,000 revolutions to burn any residues remaining in the intake system
