For petrol engines, the Wurth Throttle Valve Cleaner is a hydrocarbon-based system cleaner supplied in a 500 ml can. It is formulated for cleaning throttle valves, carburettors and intake components, and is suitable for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke petrol engines.

The colourless formula removes carbon deposits, oil residues and dirt that build up in the air intake system. A spray nozzle supports direct application to hard-to-reach areas, and the cleaner can be applied to the throttle valve, carburettor or other intake components requiring treatment. Where needed, removing the throttle valve unit may allow more thorough cleaning, including the underside of the valve.
