Wynns Off-Car DPF Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner Flush Removes Deposits 5L

Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner is a 5L heavy-duty cleaner for diesel particulate filters, with application by direct fill into the filter or by full immersion in a cleaning bath. It is suitable for all diesel particulate filters with serious clogging issues and can also be used on commercial vehicle particulate filters.

Formulated to remove blockages caused by soot, ash and other contamination, it is safe for use on all types of particulate filters and does not affect the action of catalytic elements within the filter. The cleaning process includes soaking, rinsing and drying before the filter is re-mounted on the vehicle.

How to use

• Demount the filter and remove all probes and sensors
• For self-contained cleaning, seal one end of the filter and any sensor openings with a bung or vinyl gloves
• Place the filter upright and fill with Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner, ensuring the core is fully covered and filling in the reverse direction of exhaust flow
• For bath cleaning, fill a suitable receptacle with Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner and completely immerse the filter in the cleaning solution
• Soak for a minimum of 90 minutes, or up to 8 hours for heavily blocked filters, occasionally gently agitating the filter and topping up the fluid if necessary
• Rinse thoroughly with warm water from both sides until the water runs clear
• Dry the filter, preferably using a low-pressure airline
• Re-mount the filter on the vehicle
• Add one bottle of Wynn’s Diesel Extreme Injector Cleaner to the fuel tank to support optimal system performance
