From Meinert, the 2019 '6Chen' is a Chenin Blanc drawn from two mature vineyard sites and fermented in a concrete egg. This is a subtle, layered white wine with a rich, weighty feel, balanced by bright acidity that keeps the palate composed and finely integrated.

The nose opens with quince, pear and butterscotch, before developing a toasty, mushroomy character. A long finish and persistent flavour give it real presence, while its structure suggests it will reward a few years of keeping.
