Mercier Rosé Brut Champagne N.V.

From Maison Mercier, the Rosé Brut Champagne N.V. is a distinctive rosé Champagne created from an assemblage of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with part of the blend vinified in red. In the glass, it stands out for its delightful pink colouring, lifted with coppery highlights.

On the nose, aromas of small red fruits from the forest set a fresh, expressive tone. The palate opens with a sweet attack that develops into red-fruit character, finishing with a long, fruit-driven impression that reflects the grape varieties in the blend.

Mercier’s story begins in 1858, when Eugène Mercier founded his Champagne house at the age of twenty, with the goal of bringing high-quality Champagne to the general public. By the time of his death in 1904, Mercier had become one of the leading traders in the Champagne region, with his family continuing the house’s direction. In 1970, Maison Mercier merged with Moët & Chandon, and in 1987 it joined the LVMH group.
