Metal Church The Elektra Years 1984-1989 is a 3CD digipack bringing together three studio albums from 1984 to 1989. It includes Metal Church (originally released in 1984 and reissued in 1985), The Dark (1986) and Blessing In Disguise (1989), spanning early thrash and power metal-era material across the band’s first major run.

Metal Church includes tracks from the Four Hymns demo and a high-speed take of Deep Purple’s Highway Star, produced by Terry Date. The Dark was co-produced with Mark Dodson and includes a bonus track: Watch The Children Pray (Single Edit). Blessing In Disguise returns to Terry Date as producer and adds bonus single edits of Badlands and Fake Healer.
