From Paololeo, Moramora Malvasia Nera 2022 is a red wine with an intense ruby-red colour and subtle purple tinges. The nose is pronounced and fruit-led, opening with red fruits alongside hints of plum and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well balanced, with lively tannins and a pleasantly lingering finish that returns to ripe red-fruit notes.

Paololeo is a fifth-generation estate based in the Salento wine village of San Donaci. Its story begins at the turn of the twentieth century, when Antonio Deo started vinifying grapes grown in the vineyards of Masseria Monticello. Continued investment has shaped the winery into a modern operation, with a capacity of 20,000 hl and a barrel room housing 1000 French and American oak barriques.

The estate focuses mainly on indigenous grape varieties grown across 80 ha of vineyards, including Primitivo, Negroamaro and Fiano, and holds certifications including Organic and EQUALITAS.
